SALTY'S AT REDONDO BEACH – VENUE GENERAL INFORMATION AND FAQs
Salty's at Redondo Beach is located in south Seattle 15 minutes
from Sea-Tac Airport. All of our banquet rooms are located at sea level
and feature "The Best View of Puget Sound." Ample free parking
is always available.
PAYMENTS & BILLING
It is our policy that one check will be presented which will include a
20 percent service charge, Washington State sales tax and room fee (room
fee will be arranged with your banquet coordinator). In accordance with
State of Washington Department of Revenue all food and beverage, service
charge and miscellaneous sales are subject to sales tax. All accounts
are payable in full at the end of the event unless previous arrangements
have been made through our catering office. We accept American Express,
Mastercard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover, Cashiers Checks or U.S. Currency.
MENU SELECTION
Parties 30 guests and up have several menu options available.

(The Starter and Dessert must be the same for the entire group.)
GUARANTEES
Your final guarantee (the number of guests attending) and all entrée
counts must be given to a Salty's Banquet coordinator three business days
prior to your event. You will be billed for the guarantee or the number
of meals served, whichever is greater. All food and beverage are to be
provided by Salty's on Redondo Beach.
DEPOSITS & MINIMUMS
Deposits are required to reserve a room and will be applied towards your
final bill. Minimums for the party will be discussed with you by your
banquet coordinator. When these dollar minimums are met through food and
hosted beverage purchases (exclusive of tax and gratuity) all minimum
charges will be waived. If the dollar minimum is not met, the balance
will then become a service charge (subject to 20% service charge and sales
tax).
DESSERTS
Our in-house bakery has a full line of cakes for every occasion. Talk
to your banquet coordinator for cake options and costs. If you would like
to provide your own cake, a $2.00 per person (plus tax and gratuity) cake
cutting fee will apply. This fee does not apply to wedding cakes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR ROOMS AND WHEN ARE THEY AVAILABLE?
We simply have room minimums or “dollar values” that vary
depending on the date and time. We try to put groups in the appropriate
room so that the room minimum is waived when food and hosted beverages
are purchased through Salty's on Redondo Beach. We sell the rooms
evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. We setup rooms between
4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please contact a Salty's Banquet Coordinator
for the specific minimums.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE ROOMS?
We take care of all the set-up, breakdown, linens, china, silverware,
bartenders, service staff, and parking.
WHAT ABOUT SET-UP TIMES?
While we believe you do not need to do much as far as set-up or decorating,
you may certainly arrive any time before your function during the day
to drop off items and between the 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. evening time-slot
while we are re-setting the room.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
We have a very large parking lot for your use free of charge. There is
also street parking available.
HOW DOES THE BAR WORK?
It's entirely up to you as the host. Salty's bartenders and
bar service are included with our rooms and we simply charge based on
consumption. You may offer a full hosted bar to your guests, or perhaps
just beer and wine, or maybe everyone is simply pay on their own (no-host
bar). Choose whatever works best for you, but take into account that room
minimums are met through food and hosted beverage purchases. In other
words, beverages the host pays for and puts on the food bill are applied
to the room minimum.
WHAT ABOUT HANDICAPPED ACCESS?
There is complete access located at sea-level to allow guests to easily
enter and exit the banquet facilities.
WILL THERE BE SOMEONE IN CHARGE THROUGHTOUT OUR EVENT?
We always have a designated manager on duty throughout your entire function.
Although everything will be finalized and detailed prior to your event,
we are here to serve you and all of your guests.
CAN YOU HAVE A WEDDING CEREMONY ON SITE?
We do not recommend ceremonies on site. We do a few every year but please
remember Salty's is a restaurant. The changing room would be the
ladies room. Rehearsals can be somewhat difficult with groups occupying
rooms prior to your event. Remember, it's your big day and ceremonies
performed on site at Salty's at Redondo Beach would take place in
your existing reception set-up area.
