SALTY'S on ALKI BEACH – Catering/Weddings

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Salty's on Alki is located just eight minutes from downtown Seattle and 15 minutes from Sea-Tac Airport. All of our banquet rooms are located at sea level and feature "The Best View of Seattle in Seattle." Ample free parking is always available.

PAYMENTS & BILLING

It is our policy that one check will be presented which will include a 20 percent service charge and Washington State sales tax. In accordance with State of Washington Department of Revenue all food and beverage, service charge and miscellaneous sales are subject to sales tax. All accounts are payable in full at the end of the event unless previous arrangements have been made through our catering office. We accept American Express, Mastercard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover, Cashiers Checks or U.S. Currency.

MENU SELECTION

Parties up to 30 guests have the following menu options available:

Parties up to 100 may pre-select up to 3 entrées.
Parties over 100 may pre-select up to 2 entrées.
(The Starter and Dessert must be the same for the entire group.)

GUARANTEES

Your final guarantee (the number of guests attending) and all entrée counts must be given to a Salty's Catering representative three business days prior to your event. You will be billed for the guarantee or the number of meals served, whichever is greater. All food and beverage is to be provided by Salty's on Alki.

DEPOSITS & MINIMUMS

Deposits are required to reserve a room and will be applied towards your final bill. Each room carries a minimum dollar value. When these dollar minimums are met through food and hosted beverage purchases (exclusive of tax and gratuity) all room charges will be waived. If the dollar minimum is not met, the balance will then become a room charge (subject to 20% service charge and sales tax).

DESSERTS

Our in-house bakery has a full line of cakes for every occasion. The charge is $3.00 and up per person. If you would like to provide your own cake, a $2.00 per person (plus tax and gratuity) cake cutting fee will apply. This fee does not apply to wedding cakes.

GENERAL RECEPTION INFORMATION

1. When we discuss with you the details of your upcoming event, please have an idea of what types of food and beverages you would like to offer to your guests. All food and beverage is provided by Salty’s. We will discuss timeframe and room set-up details too.

2. A general estimate for beverage service is about 3½ drinks per guest. Beverages from the bar are charged on a per drink basis. When wine or champagne is served, it is charged by the bottle. All beverages are provided by Salty’s on Alki.

1. Bottles of wine and champagne serve between 4 to 5 glasses per bottle. We do not require you to purchase a specific amount for your party. The bottles will be counted after the function and you will be charged only for what has been served. It is entirely up to you as the host what you would like to have for beverage service.
2. Kegs of beer serve approximately 165 glasses. Pony kegs serve about 90 glasses. Please check with your catering representative for the selection of brands available.
3. There is no extra charge for having bar service available during your function. There are no bar minimums and no bartender fees for either a sponsored or cash bar.
4. Please remember it is food & hosted beverages that apply towards your room minimum. No host (cash bar) service does not apply to your room minimum.

3. Our prices include the room charge, once you have met the minimum set for the room. All linens, silver, china, glassware and service staff are included. We will have staff available to serve beverages all evening, as well as extra staff for keeping the buffet bountiful, picking up plates and keeping the room neat. We will also be doing all of the room set-up and breakdown, and of course, all of the dishes!

4. Due to environmental concerns, we do not allow glitter, confetti, rice or birdseed to be used or thrown either inside or outside of the facility.
