Salty's in Portland is serving up more than just great seafood, we also offer live music in our Café-Bar. We feature a truly magnificent combo of world-class jazz players Jof Lee and Mel Brown. Central figures in the Portland jazz scene, drummer Mel Brown is known as Portland's ultimate timekeeper and "Mister Groove." An Oregon icon in jazz, drummer Mel Brown has been labeled the “Gentleman of Jazz,” with a career spanning over 40 years.
