At the Salty's on Alki Café-Bar in Seattle,
you'll find the boogie-woogie band Casey MacGill's Blue 4 Trio Mondays
and Fridays. The “buttery-voice swinger” Casey MacGill and
his Blue 4 Trio bring swing to Alki Beach. MacGill is “the personification
of swing authenticity,” says one reviewer. A classic Hollywood
character in appearance and style, MacGill plays boogie-woogie, swing,
and stride piano; he’s Fats Waller meets Fats Domino. Casey has
developed a signature vocal sound, has a way with a torch song, and
enjoys the adventure of scat singing. MacGill's repertoire covers a
range of material from the Gershwins to Leiber & Stoller to low-down,
dirty blues. He blows a lyrical cornet and occasionally plays zydeco-style
accordion, but his most unique instrumental voice is a 6-string tenor

If you're in Portland, don't miss Portland jazz giants Mel Brown and
Jof Lee now performing at Salty's on the
Columbia Café-Bar, Fridays and Saturdays. Central figures
in the Portland jazz scene, drummer Mel Brown is known as Portland's
ultimate timekeeper and "Mister Groove." An Oregon icon in
jazz, drummer Mel Brown has been labeled the “Gentleman of Jazz,”
with a career spanning over 40 years. Jof Lee is known as the pianist
of choice and is a very active composer and arranger who has developed

In South Seattle, our guests enjoy an evening of live pop music and
cocktails several nights a week. The Salty’s
at Redondo Café-Bar features local singers and musicians
from the Seattle area. A frequent guest is PoodleBomb with Paul Kroeger
and Mark Fluegel. Our show is different every night, but we promise
you’ll enjoy classic rock favorites and catchy tunes that'll have

Many guests come for seafood or steak on our Dinner Menu and then stay
for cocktails and a nosh while they enjoy our live music. Our Café-Bar
Menu features great Northwest seafood appetizers that pair wonderfully
with our wines by the glass, brews on tap and bottled beer favorites.
