Salty's Restaurants in Seattle and Portland appeal to a wide variety
of guests and occasions. Each day once-in-a-lifetime experiences unfold
in our dining rooms. It is a great pleasure and responsibility to
assemble a wine list to accommodate such dynamic and diverse possibilities.
We have a separate list for each of our three locations, but the standard
of excellence is the same. Simply stated, we work to create a list
for you that is filled with wine that exceeds your expectations and
is accurate in vintage and appellation, and, finally my pet peeve,
we won't run out. If you see it on the list, we have it.
We know that our guests are sometimes intimidated by wine so our
lists are formatted to make it easy to understand and to find a wine
you will be pleased with. We are proud that we have won awards
from The Wine Spectator, The Wine Enthusiast Magazine and Washington
Wine Commission, for "Excellence" and "Distinction,"
but our number-one goal is to make the list easy for you to use so
that wine and food happens naturally with as little stress as possible.
If you don't see a recommended food-wine pairing on our menu, please
ask your server. They are trained to guide you to a choice that is
right for you.
Salty's is also proud to celebrate the wines produced in the Northwest
that feature unique bottlings unavailable elsewhere. The Washington
Wine Commission has given both our Alki and Redondo restaurants “Washington
Wine First” awards, which we are proud of as well. Please come
into Salty’s in Seattle, South Seattle or Portland, and see
for yourself why Salty’s Restaurants are rated so highly with
the locals. To us, pairing great wine with great food is a passion.
Salute!
